Mr. Crosha (the very end)
Narrator- The Butler family was a nice little family on the outside of town.
Mr. Butler- Honey can you get Lily out of bed? She is crying and I’m busy.
Mrs. Butler- I guess so but next time it’s your turn.
Narrator- on Mrs. Butler’s way to Lily’s room she overheard Baily & Jasper talking.
Baily- What are we going to do about Lily’s bunny?
Jasper- I don’t know. How did it get out?
Baily- I know. We were there the whole time.
Mrs. Butler- So that’s why Lily’s crying.
Narrator- Mrs. Butler walked into Lily’s room & heard Lily yelling ........
Lily- Waaaa, where’s Bunny? Waaaa Mama, Bunny’s gone.
Mrs. Butler- I know. We’ll find your bunny honey. Come on. Let’s go get your brother & sister and find your bunny.
Lily- Yeah
Mrs. Butler- Come on Baily & Jasper. We are going to find Lily’s bunny.
Baily & Jasper- ok
Mrs. Butler- Let’s get Nika and search the house first.
Nika- grrrrrrrrrrrr
Narrator- Nika was growling at the cat the Butlers own named Tippy. The dog and the cat didn’t get along that well and the Butlers had a hard time splitting them up.
Mr. Butler- Where are you going?
Baily- We are going to find Lily’s bunny. It got out of its cage.
Mr. Butler- Ok are you taking Nika with you?
Jasper- Yep.
Mrs. Butler- Ok. See you later.
Mr. Butler- Ok
Nika- ( bark 2 times)
Lily- Let’s search.
Baily & Jasper- We will search upstairs.
Mrs. Butler- We will search down here.
Narrator- Well they all searched up and down even up in the atic & the cellar. They still didn’t find bunny. But they saw a nibbled on carrot in the kitchen &
bunny prints in the dust in the cellar
Mrs. Butler- Ok let’s search outside.
Baily & Jasper- We’ll get up front!
Mrs.Butler- We’ll search out back.
Nika- (barking to go outside) BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK!
Lily- Let’s let Nika out as well so she can go potty & help find bunny!
Mrs. Butler- Ok let’s go.
Narrator- Well they looked even harder & they got really worried. They looked everywhere and still nothing. They looked under bushes, behind trees,
& everywhere they could think of.
Nika- BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Jasper & Baily- Mom, did you hear that?
Mrs. Butler- Hear what?
Jasper & Baily- Barking and growling of course.
Nika- BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! BARK! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Lily- I heard it. Mom you need hearing aides because I even heard that. Come on this way . I think I heard her over here.
Mrs. Butler, Jasper, Baily, & Lily- NIKA! NIKA! NIKA! NIKA!
Nika- BARK! BARK! BARK!
Lily- Here she is.
Mr. Crosha- I found this little thing in my garden. Does (pause) she belong to you?
Mrs. Butler- Yes, thank you very much, but I thought your wife did all of the gardening and she’s on a trip right?
Mr. Crosha- Yes. But I think you should thank your dog very much because she was barking and I heard her and there’s a hawk that hangs around here every day. And we wouldn’t want it to catch this cute thing now would we?
Lily- No, not at all. Thank you Mr. Crosha!
Mr. Crosha- You’re welcome any time.
Narrator- The Butlers ran home with bunny & Nika.
Mr. Butler- Did you find her?
Lily- Yep.
Mr. Butler- Who’s the hero that found her because they get a dollar?
Mrs. Butler, Jasper, Baily,& Lily- Nika is the big hero so she gets a treat!
NIKA- BARK! BARK!
